Words, Words, Words

Poetry has a special 'Je ne sais quoie' which is very powerful.  I'm sure there is a poem you remember from your past which affects you even now at times.  The power of words, for better or for worse, is ..... (You can fill in the word! explosive? exponential? giddy?)  The emotions of animals are much the same as our own, yet by words we have our definition - and by words we define ourselves - in a major degree.

        'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God.  And the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.  In Him was the Life, and the Life was the light of men."  John 1:1-4.  "Genesis 1:26, 27, "Let us make man in our own image, according to our likeness.......So God created man in His own image, In the image of God He created him, male and female He created them."  Think about the ramifications of that!  We are actually made in the image of The Word!
